Verse of the Week:
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:5-6

Reflection:
This week, we’re focusing on trusting God, especially during times of uncertainty. Life is full of twists and turns, and it’s easy to feel overwhelmed when things don’t go as planned. But Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to place our trust in God rather than relying solely on our own understanding.
When we lean on God, we are choosing faith over fear. It doesn’t mean we’ll have all the answers or that everything will work out perfectly. Instead, it means trusting that God’s plan is better than anything we could imagine. He sees the bigger picture, even when we can’t.
Trusting God doesn’t mean everything will instantly feel easier, but it does mean we don’t have to carry the weight of worry alone. God sees the bigger picture and is working for our good, even when we don’t understand what’s happening. Let this be a week where we focus on letting go of control and putting our faith in Him.

Ways to Strengthen Your Trust in God:
1.) Pray About Your Worries: Talk to God about what’s on your heart. Ask Him to take control and give you peace in the unknown.
2.) Read His Promises: Spend time with verses like Proverbs 3:5-6 or Psalm 46:10 (“Be still, and know that I am God”) to remind yourself that God is always in control.
3.) Give God Your Worries: Write down your worries and surrender them to God. Trust that He’s got it handled.
4.) Remember God’s Faithfulness: Think back to times when God brought you through hard situations. Let those moments remind you of His love and faithfulness.
5.) Stay Encouraged: Surround yourself with people or resources (like this blog!) that strengthen your faith and remind you to trust in Him.
“Faith is trusting God even when you don’t understand His plan.” – Anonymous
Trust doesn’t always mean understanding, but it does mean believing that God is with you every step of the way. Trusting God means believing He’s got you, even when you can’t see the full picture.
Pray With Me:
Lord, help me to trust You, even when I feel unsure or overwhelmed. Remind me that You are always in control, and guide me to let go of my worries and lean on Your wisdom. Teach me to walk in faith and trust Your plan for my life. Amen.

This week, try these steps to build trust in God:
• Morning Prayer: Start your day by praying and asking God to guide you through whatever comes your way.
• Write His Promises: Each day, write down a verse about trusting God and reflect on it.
• Encourage Someone Else: Share a kind word or Bible verse with a friend who might also be feeling unsure.

Closing Thought
Trusting God isn’t always easy, but it’s one of the most freeing things we can do. When we stop trying to control everything and let God take the lead, we find peace in knowing He’s guiding our steps.
Remember, God sees the bigger picture even when we can’t, and He will always lead us in the right direction. Trust that He’s got you – you are never walking this journey alone. When we let go of the need to control everything and place our trust in Him, we open ourselves to His peace and guidance.
This week, let’s focus on taking small steps to trust Him more deeply, knowing that He is always working for our good.
